Shipping policy
PROCESSING TIME
All orders are lovingly handmade to order and require 4 – 7 business days for production before shipping.
Processing time begins after payment is confirmed. You will receive a notification with tracking information once your order ships.
Please note: production time is in addition to shipping time. We recommend ordering early, especially for baby showers, birthdays, or time-sensitive events.
SHIPPING METHODS & TIME FRAMES
We currently ship within South Africa and internationally. Delivery times below are estimates after production is complete:

International orders: Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes or
border fees charged by their country.
Ubuntique is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.
International shipping rates will vary by destination and are displayed at checkout.
ORDER TRACKING
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your package's journey from our hands to yours.
Please allow 24 hours for tracking information to update after dispatch.
LOST OR DAMAGED PARCELS
For lost parcels, please contact us if your order has not arrived within the maximum estimated time frame.
We will investigate with the courier on your behalf.
We take great care in packaging every order safely. However, once a parcel is handed to the courier, it is in their care. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please:
1. Take photographs of the damaged packaging and item immediately upon receipt.
2. Contact us at info@ubuntique.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos.
3.We will work with you and the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
A NOTE FOR PREEMIE & NEWBORN ORDERS
We understand that parents of premature babies often have unpredictable and urgent timelines.
If you have a special circumstance or need an item urgently, please reach out to us before placing your order and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
